GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

 

Under the daily supervision of the Advertising Manager, the Advertising Coordinator will be an experienced professional who knows how to identify and target the right strategies and audiences for maximum results.

 

As the Advertising Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating efficient campaigns, tracking performance metrics, and optimizing your paid media to maximize reach and ticket sales for all events presented by Classic Entertainment and The Classic Center Cultural Foundation the occur in The Classic Center facility.

 

TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Produce advertising plans for various events throughout the year, including all ticketed theatre shows, Breakfast with Santa, Broadway, Athens on Ice, etc.
  2. Assist outside promoters in placing their local media buys and helping them implement their marketing plans, providing suggestions and recommendations based on look-a-like shows.
  3. Work with the advertising manager to utilize data to develop strategies for the various events to generate maximum economic impact.
  4. Execute all paid advertising in event ad plans, including overseeing the creative, digital advertising, billboard placements, radio, and television advertising.
  5. Track and submit settlements detailing all costs associated with that event, clearly illustrating maximum ROI for promoters.
  6. Analyze advertising performance in relation to ticket counts and make advertising adjustments accordingly.
  7. Conduct market research to determine ad campaign strategies.
  8. Assist the marketing department by being the main point of contact for media inquiries pertaining to upcoming events in the theatre or convention center.
  9. All other duties as assigned.

  

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. College degree required. Concentration in marketing, advertising, or communications is preferred.

 

  1. Previous experience coordinating advertising campaigns, preferably in the events industry.

 

  1. Understanding of traditional and digital advertising channels.

 

  1. Ability to analyze advertising performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns.

 

  1. Ability to effectively communicate and work cross-functionally with internal team members, external promoters, and media contacts.

 

  1. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple advertising campaigns simultaneously.
